Please read the veg box information on this page before selecting your area on the buttons below.

What's in the boxes?
Inside your veg box every week you will find the three staples - potatoes, onions and
carrots. On top of these you will also receive around 6 items of other vegetables that are
in season in the veg field on that particular week. The full list of veg grown is pretty
exhaustingly long but it could be anything including peas, beetroot, spinach, leeks,
cucumbers, tomatoes, salad turnips, rocket, broccoli, cauliflower, spring onions, Kale...the
list goes on.....

What if I don't like this vegetable?

Well perhaps this scheme isn't for you! You can opt out of two vegetables, however we would

always recommend having the full range to start with, because our veg doesn't taste like any old

supermarket veg! If you opt out of one of the staples, your box may be £1 more
expensive.

We want our customers to be excited about what may be in the box this week,

and be enthused and motivated to try new vegetables and recipes!

What's the cost?
The provisional costs are as follows:
Regular box : £14 (enough for around 2 people)
Large/Family box: £19 (for around 4 people)

Why do the boxes only start in July?
Our boxes are made up of vegetables that are grown on our farm beside Ellon, and
potatoes grown at Lonmay. We need to take a break from January to July to plant the
next crop and wait for it to grow! But rest assured, as soon as the veg is ready, we will
start delivering!

When will you deliver and do I need to be in?
We are still firming up delivery schedule, however it is most likely to be on either
Thursday or Friday. You don't have to be in to receive your box, just let us know of a
safe place to leave it when we drop it off!

For customers in Aberdeen, boxes will be delivered to JK Fine Foods, 16 Chattan Pl, Aberdeen AB10 6RD on a Friday for collection over the weekend.

ARE THE VEGETABLES ALL HOME GROWN?

As much as possible are! We grow everything we provide apart from the potatoes which are grown for us by fellow farmers at Lonmay.
If we happen to fall into a scarcity of veg in a particular week, we may make up the shortfall with some veg sourced from else-where, but only if it is grown locally to our standards and quality

How do I pay?
Payment will be by online payment, the system will be set up and in place by first delivery
- more details will follow!
